Located in the heart of Wilton Manors, Rowan Tree Medical is a small private practice that specializes in LGBT health. The combined expertise of our providers makes us uniquely qualified to manage the healthcare needs of South Florida’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered population. Ancillary Fee Schedule & Disclaimers
- Returned checks will be charged $25 and future payments by check will not be accepted.
- A fee of $15 will be assessed for forms requiring physician's documentation. This includes but is not limited to FMLA and disability. A fee is not assessed for letters including "sick notes" issued during an appointment.
- A fee of $15 will be assessed for "injection only" apointments that do not require seeing a physician. This includes injections such as testosterone and B12. This does not include injections requiring a physician visit such as Hepatitis B immunization or injected antibiotics.
- A missed (no show) appointment will be charged $25. Same day cancellations are considered a missed appointment. Walk-in appointments are typically not accommodated; please call ahead for scheduling availability. Cash pay is accepted. Clients must be 18 years of age or older to be seen.
Controlled Substances
Persuant to Florida State Legislative Bill CS/CS/HB 7095 (effective July 1, 2011), our physicians can no longer write prescriptions for certain controlled substances. If you need pain medications, you will be referred to Pain Management. These rules apply to NEW and EXISTING patients. If you have any questions about these rules, please speak with the office manager or your doctor.
